I grew up spending summers at a family cottage on Lake Muskoka, listening to my grandfather's stories about the Ojibwe canoe routes and the Gilded Age families who built the grand boathouses. After a decade as a park ranger and a graduate degree in heritage tourism, I founded Ontario Signature Experiences to share those stories with people who want more than a selfie — they want to feel the place.

About this experience
The most powerful waterfall in North America looks different at dusk. As the golden hour fades and the mist rises, Horseshoe Falls begins to glow — illuminated in rotating colours that ripple through the spray cloud like a living aurora. This 3-hour guided experience begins at Table Rock with history spanning 12,000 years: the retreat of the Niagara Escarpment glacier, the Haudenosaunee nations who revered these falls, and the daredevils who tried to conquer them. On Friday and Saturday evenings (May–September), the tour culminates with the famous Fireworks display over the falls. **Included:** Expert narration, four curated viewpoints, digital photo package emailed next day, rain poncho. **Optional add-on:** Maid of the Mist boat ticket — board at the dock directly after the tour.
