Frequently asked questions

For operators

What is Experiencefront?

The operating system for small tour operators, DMCs and independent guides. Build departures day by day, coordinate suppliers, sell on your own branded storefront, and collect payment — one system of record instead of spreadsheets and inboxes.

What does it cost?

A platform subscription sized to your operation, plus a per-booking platform fee you can see on every booking, with optional hands-on setup. We don't publish tiers because we'd rather fit the price to your business — see the pricing page and talk to us.

Who processes payments — do I have to change providers?

Bookings are processed through Stripe on your own connected account. You are the merchant of record: payouts go directly to you, and Stripe's standard processing fees apply to your account. If you don't have a Stripe account, you create one during onboarding.

Can travellers pay a deposit and the rest later?

Yes. Group quotes can take a deposit at acceptance with the balance on an installment schedule, and a group can split payment between travellers.

Does it handle multi-day programs?

Natively. Programs become dated departures with a day-by-day plan: hotel blocks, coaches, tickets, meals and staff as service lines, each with its own supplier, timing and confirmation status — plus rooming and documents.

Will Experiencefront bring me bookings?

Today you sell on your own branded storefront and partner storefronts, all from one capacity engine. As the operator network grows we intend to route group and ground demand to operators with strong reliability records — that part is a direction, not a promise, and we won't pretend otherwise.

Is my data safe?

Your operation's data is isolated per organization and enforced at the database layer, and card details go to Stripe — we never see or store card numbers. The security page covers this in detail.

Who owns the customer relationship?

You do. Your brand on the storefront, your guest records, your Stripe account, your policies. Experiencefront is the system you run it on, not a marketplace that owns your customers.

For travellers

Who am I actually booking with?

The tour operator. Experiencefront is the platform the operator runs on; the operator delivers your experience and sets its own policies, which are shown before you book.

How do I pay?

By card at checkout, processed by Stripe. Your card details go to Stripe — never to us or to the operator.

Do prices include fees?

The price you see at checkout is the total. Nothing is added after.

Can I pay in installments, or split payment with my group?

If the operator offers it, yes — a deposit now with scheduled installments, or a payment link each member of your group pays separately.

What if I need to cancel?

Each operator sets a cancellation policy, shown before you book and in your confirmation. Our Cancellation & Refund Policy explains how refunds are handled on the platform.

Where's my ticket?

Your confirmation email has your booking details and QR code — show it at check-in.

How do I get help with a booking?

Start with the operator — their contact details are in your confirmation. For platform issues (payments, accounts), email [email protected].

What happens to my personal information?

It's used to deliver your booking and handled per our Privacy Policy — including your rights to access and delete it.
